Upcoming validation window Report Card and Star Chart 2 Whats new in accountability for 2019? Rhode Islands accountability system will have two new High School indicators. The Diploma Plus indicators measure graduates proficiency in high school and postsecondary credentials such as AP, CTE, and College Credit. Achievement, Growth, ELP, and Exceeds Expectations will be based on two years of data.

This aligns with Rhode Islands long-term goals as well as federal requirement that schools with less than 67% graduation rates be identified as in need of comprehensive support and improvement.
