Critically Exploring Superheroes
Objective: TLW use the RWT Venn Diagram printout and app to compare and contrast character traits of
superheroes in a visually appealing way.
Follow the directions below to complete this station activity.

This task uses:
Complete the My Favorite Superheroes handout by listing two of your
favorite superheroes and then list adjectives to describe the traits of each
Next, use the Venn Diagram handout to compare and contrast your two
superheroes. On the left and right circle list adjectives that describe how these
two superheroes are different from each other. In the middle section of the
venn diagram, list adjectives

Make sure to fill in the Notes below the task card with your information.
Task Card Templates
Are these superheroes girls, women, boys, or men? Can you always tell? In
what ways are they different?
Where are these characters from?
On the iPad, go to the Venn Diagram app. Use your venn diagram draft to
publish your comparison and contrasting traits of your superhereos.
On the final step, use the Send Final option to send the completed venn
diagram to your email.
Once you receive the email with your attachment, you will save your haiku
poem in your documents folder.
