Proposed formal Waste Task Force Updated Resources Annual Survey Results 110 Green Teams at Penn State campuses Experience Skills Observations Feedback Annual Survey Results 72 % Educated others on composting and
paper, plastic, and miscellaneous plastic recycling We placed a special box in our work areas and challenged people to guess how many pieces of miscellaneous plastic we could collect each month. It raised awareness about what miscellaneous plastics are, how they differ from other plastics, and how much we are able to save from the landfill. The closest guess won a prize. Kern Ph. After that morning, afternoon, or evening, cup of coffee is sipped dry, what do you do with the cup? Well here is the answer for you! Single-use non-reusable/non-compostable coffee cups must be thrown in the
landfill container. These cups include both plastic and paper that is unable to be separated during the recycling process. You can also help by bringing your own reusable cup to your favorite coffee location! By bringing your own reusable cup, you are able to not waste money on a product that will ultimately sit in the landfill. Keep up the sorting!
