SENTENCE TYPES B E L LW O R K A N D G R A M M A R SENTENCE TYPE TIPS WRITE THIS AND THIS In Compound sentences,

the comma ALWAYS goes BEFORE the conjunction. Complex sentences DO NOT have a conjunction. You can have 2+ independent in Compound and 1+

dependent in Complex. Can your clause stand on its own? = independent. Dont use a comma to separate if your dependent clause is at the end. If your dependent clause

is at the beginning, separate it with a comma. UNIT 2 VOCAB 1 VOCAB CONTINUE FOR HOMEWORK VOCAB 1

I spend my money judiciously because I still need to pay my bills. Some students think school is trivial, so they dont spend their time on it. The bug spray I use as a deterrent around my house doesnt seem to be working anymore. My dog invariably sleeps between my legs, so I know something is wrong when he doesnt. I have a deficiency in some vitamins, so I have to replace them with pills.
